Do I need an additional slatted frame for the bed frame?
No, that is not necessary. The individual wooden slats perform the function of a slatted frame directly, provide optimal support for the mattress, and ensure very good ventilation from below.
Which mattresses are suitable for the plug-in bed?
You can basically use any standard mattress. Due to the wide spacing and arrangement of the wooden slats, the mattress remains well-ventilated from below at all times.
What is included in the delivery?
The delivery includes the two load-bearing runners and the corresponding solid wood rungs, including the integrated felt joints and rubber feet. Mattresses or decorations are not included.
How long does assembly take and do I need any tools?
Assembly takes only about 10 to 15 minutes and is completely effortless. You don't need any tools or screws, as the entire bed is simply slotted together.
Is the bed suitable for repeated assembly and disassembly?
Yes, absolutely. Since the bed is made completely without glue or metal, the wooden elements do not wear out. You can take it apart and put it back together as often as you like without compromising its stability.
Is the slatted bed frame stable and does it remain quiet even with movement?
Yes, it is very stable and absolutely silent. Cleverly integrated felt joints in the wooden connections prevent any squeaking, while natural rubber on the runners stops it from sliding on smooth floors.
Can I change the width and height later?
Yes, the bed flexibly grows with your needs. Thanks to its modular design, you can swap the runners or add or remove rungs to adjust the dimensions.
Where and from what kind of wood is the bed made?
The bed is crafted with artisanal care in the south of Germany near the Lake Constance region. Regional, high-quality solid woods such as maple, ash, or fir are used.
How is the bed delivered and how long does delivery take?
The individual parts are bundled compactly and delivered directly to you. Shipping usually takes 2 weeks.
Can I return the bed?
Yes, of course. The standard statutory right of withdrawal applies to your online order, should the bed not meet your expectations after all.
