Our Approach

Inspired by natural materials, we develop constructions that respect their inherent qualities and bring them to the fore. Wherever the material and construction allow, we avoid permanently bonded joints and synthetic additives. This means that individual components can be separated, replaced and reused.

Our products are made from solid materials and, where appropriate, designed to be disassembled. They are intended to be used for a long time, repaired and passed on. At the end of their useful life, their materials should, wherever possible, be reused or returned to natural cycles.

We value the tactile and aesthetic qualities of wood, placing its natural grain, texture and beauty at the heart of every piece. What takes decades to grow should remain in use for even longer.
