It is the simplest Cutting Board imaginable, crafted from a single piece of solid hardwood, rift-sawn and without glue or metal. Every cutting board is unique. We don’t treat our wood with oils or varnish. Instead they are sanded twice and watered once in between for a smooth finish.

Handle your board with care. Mountain Maple and Pear Tree wood are natural materials and always unique. Are you unsure whether to buy a plastic or a wooden board? Most types of wood contain antiseptic Oils and Resin. Our wooden Blocks are, therefore, not only ecological but also hygienic. To prevent your Cutting Board from deformation, wash it on both sides, dry it immediately, and store it in a well-ventilated area. You can usually remove any dents or marks by placing a warm, damp cloth over the affected area for a few minutes. For our Blocks we only chose very fine-pored wood, therefor changes in colour and stains are only surface-level and gradually disappear.
