A life-long companion, inviting you from the elevation onto your flor, down to earth. Crafted entirely from solid wood, our Bed is made without glue or metal. With two robust load-bearing bridges and connecting slats, each joint is reinforced with felt crosses to ensure silent and peaceful nights. Natural kautschuk rubber pads prevent the Bed from moving on slippery floors. Not only does our Bed allow sleeping close to the ground, but it also promotes proper air circulation beneath your mattress. Assembling and disassembling our Bed is quick and effortless. The width of the Bed determines the number of slats. If you need to increase the width of your mattress, simply exchange your current bridges for wider ones and order additional slats. A child may start out on a 90cm Bed and continue to grow together. The Bed adapts to your changing needs, growing or shrinking as required. Our Bed is built using locally sourced wood by our skilled cabinet maker, Lucian Kopp.

Start setting up your Bed by connecting both bridges with the outer slats to form a frame. This step will help you determine the correct position for a quick and effortless assembly. If your bedroom floor tends to be slippery, now is the perfect time to secure the final position of your bed by placing kautschuk rubber pads underneath all four legs. Next, proceed to connect all the missing slats to the bridges. The felt crosses go into the joints between the bridge and the slat, as shown in the animation above.
Handle your Bed with care. Wood is a natural material and, therefore, always unique. We recommend using a soft brush or cloth for dusting to maintain its longevity. In the event of dents or marks, place a warm, damp cloth over the area for a few minutes to allow the wood to expand and regain shape. Most stains are surface-level and can effectively be removed with a damp cloth. However, do not use excessive moisture, as it can alter the shape of the timber. The felt pads should be ironed after use to restore their original shape for future reassembly.
